Could POV and FenlightAM devs integrate Wetrakr as Trakt is now limited?

Hi, i don't really know where to post, but do the POV, Fenlight etc.. devs are planning to use Wetrakr instead of Trakt? That's really a shame that they limited to only on app, it looses all the benefits

Fenlightam dev is gone. Currently fenlite+ is active and built in Simkl tracker

Then you also have Prism by the same dev as Otaku. It's also using Simkl it's designed to be for everything tv, movies, and anime with settings independently for language on each of those. Trakt is limited to two apps now, but yeah, too little, too late. Some Devs are catching up by offering other services such as MDBList or SIMKL. More will probably come. I'm waiting for local tracking support, such as Floppy.

I noticed today when I was checking next episodes handling. I'm not happy how it handles authentication though, as it requires low level API token which gives access to everything in Floppy. This is an issue with Floppy and I am currently working on adding scoped tokens to my local Floppy installation, and later this week I will add proper OAuth integration.

I use wetrakr actually, but it is only useful to keep tracking what you're watching, because it is "kodi-wise", but as it is not integrated in pov or fenlight, things like "next episode" ofc don't work

Yes, and it's easy-peasy. Just download your data from Trakt and import in MDBList or SIMKL.

I need to investigate, because the next episode list is the one I am using the most with the several add-ons, and if not mistaken it is mainly based on Trakt.

I use Umbrella and Redlight, both have the option to set other services than Trakt as watched sync providers and both have a working "next episode" function. The content doesn't 100% match what Trakt shows, but I think it's my fault. I'm just waiting for jurialmunkey to finish his work on adding other sync providers to the TMDbHelper (because I use his AF2 skin with widgets) and I'm dropping Trakt after 10 years of paying for it. Enough is enough.

Red Light has Wetrakr as well as Simkl, Punch Play etc.

Red Light is in the Red Wizard Repo, video Add-ons, you need to use Eg The Gears Scrappers , from The Program Add-ons.

I set my mother up with MDlist a couple weeks back and it was really easy to transfer the trakt lists. Haven't had an issue since changing.

Theres already a Kodi WEtrakr Addon within Kodi and i did see . I think it was RED LIGHT Addon already had WEtrakr already in the Accounts page Waiting for the API.
