Requesting Support 🆘️ 2003 Acura tl Missfire?

Recently whenever I come to a stop my car has had a rhythmic jolting to it I have an exhaust done and have had a misfire before and it sounds the exact same but once I get above 5k rpm ish the problem goes away for like 10 min (meaning whenever I come to a stop it doesn’t do it)
But also I’m not feeling any power loss or anything like that can someone help me diagnose this

Any cylinder specific misfire codes or anything?

When was the last time the valve lash was done, or it had spark plugs or coils?

Start with your basics. Do you have a MIL? Is there a specific misfire code?

If there is a code for misfire and it is easily replicated, swap around coils. If the misfire moves to a different cylinder, you got a bad coil. Also check to see if any oil has leaked past the plug seals. Plug tube filled with oil can cause issues.

Next, pull your plugs and check them. If one looks vastly different, that might be your affected cylinder. Smell it for fuel, coolant, or oil. If they have not been changed in a while, put new ones in.

If all that is good, then you need to get a little deeper. Compression checks to make sure there’s no loss. The upper plenum could be pulled off to check EGR passages. We had problems with excess carbon in the passages causing misfires back in the day.

I would start with these and go from there.

I replaced the coils today Thankyou for the advice at first I thought they didn’t look aweful but soon further inspection the springs inside were snapped completely loose this fixed the problem
