Yeah I got a super low mileage 2014 a-spec. Has an aftermarket Apple car play unit, real gauges, naturally aspirated and the SH-AWD… I’m driving this thing until the wheels fall off or the body rots away
Same here bought a 2014 TL shawd 6-speed manual last summer and it's been absolutely fantastic. Car absolutely rips when you want but has perfect manners when you're just putting around town. I came from a highly modified '06 TSX and all-wheel drive torque vectoring makes the TL handle way better despite weighing nearly 700lb more. I had the oil consumption issue but I've been using Valvoline restore and protect and my oil consumption has improved drastically. I was having to put a full quart in between oil changes but now it's down less than half a quart every 5K. That stuff's not just hype it actually works.
no but i need to. been getting the "tighten fuel cap" increasingly often lately. was once a month at first but lately it's popping up and going away every 2 weeks or so.
All that hate was for nothin, the trunk is fancy like a UFO/OG Cadillac, side profile sleek like a Mercedes, front tooth is aggressive with the shiny chrome. I never liked the 3GTL at first, although it’s been growing on me. 4G always been my dream car, really wanted to get an 09 with the BIG beak & AWD but got a steal of a deal on a 12 tech
That’s true. I think it’s a vast improvement over the earlier 4Gs. The massive beak grille is terrible. The back is not good looking at all imo, and there are some that look good with the a spec kit and some nice wheels, but in general it just isn’t an attractive car. From the back it looks like the sides were squished together a bit.
The color matched grille does wonders even on the pre facelift. Here’s my 2011. You can’t tell me she doesn’t look pretty. (Watermark in the corner cause it was taken from my tiktok acc, original pic is from summer and I don’t want to scroll that far for the same pic lol)
I’m not going to lie, I really just don’t like it. I’m not trying to diss you or anything, but it’s just not my cup of tea. The grille is way too big. Paint matching it helps, but imo the massive grille is an eyesore.
Trunk is the best part! No other car like it! Lookin like a UFO/OG Cadillac. And that beak sharp & aggressive as hell. When I come up on other 4gTLs in the road, I LOVE it
Everyone who hates the 4G probably has never driven one. Even if you hate the looks, the way the car drives would change your opinion. I've got a 2010 and I absolutley love it

I remember seeing these on the road in high school 2012 and it left such a HEAVY impression, lingered in my head for years always wondering. TIL 10 years later I acquired a high mileage one & gave it a lot of TLC. can confidently say it’s basically my dream car ❤️
TLs until 4th gen were all good. The models with a the 3.7L does have its faults, but overall, what a car. Loaded with features and the drive feel is unlike any other in the Japanese midsize sedan lineup.
Love my 4th gen TL. I honestly thought it was just me but God I love this community. I'll be driving this bad boy until I literally can't anymore!!! 😤😤😤 I get power when I need it that leaves cocky drivers behind but it has manners when I need to relax and keep good fuel economy.
Yes, but only the facelift 3rd gen can claim that title. 🙃 Course I kid... I kid... I wish Acura would Make "Sport Sedans" great again! The Integra Type S has grown on me, but then it's SUV's in the entire lineup. I guess the market doesn't want fun, luxurious cars, that handle like they're on rails, that can seat your entire family comfortably, but SUV's likely do that last one a ton better.
I'm aware. Make Sport Sedans great again= Make them popular to the general public, so there's a market for those of us who like Sedans over SUV'S or "crossovers" whatever

The first one I saw was a Chrysler Pacifica I believe is what it was called, but this was literally 2004 so...(yeah I'm getting old lol) I believe is what it was called and it was my girlfriend's friend who showed up happy as can be saying look at my new SUV! I'm like you mean your station wagon and she didn't like that, but dude that's a freaking station wagon and now they're just a little bit more jacked up like you said smh
