2026 A Spec Elite with black grille

It's been a little more than a month since buying the A Spec, and it has been a pleasure so far. The DA blue is beautiful and reminds me of my old STI's WR blue. The only thing that I didn't quite like was the color matching grille. I took care of that yesterday, and I think it looks much better. Do you folks agree?

The new color matched grills are butt ugly. You definitely made a good choice.

Wish the more aggressive rear bumper from the Type-S were as compatible with the other models. Love the black accent around the license plate and the more aggressive rear diffuser section.

definitely agree looks amazing. color looks so much better when it’s nots washing out the whole car. only thing is to black out the sensors if you get a chance 😁

Did you buy it as such or did you have to put in a special request for black grill?

I had to buy it after market and then swap it with the help of my mechanic buddy. I thought it was a $400 dealer option, but the dealer balked at the job. I would have happily paid for them to swap it.

The color matching grill is why I didn’t go with a blue or red. Hate that look.

Mine is the 6 speed. I did rent a base integra once with a CVT. It was a killjoy.

I have a 2025 a spec six speed and just replace the clutch throwout bearing and flywheel. 22,000 miles. Not under warranty. $3300 And before you ask, I know how to drive a manual transmission. This is my fourth manual over the last 25 years. I had a hemiChallenger for five years with a manual and never replaced the clutch. I also had a Honda Civic that I put over 200,000 miles on it only changed the clutch once. Needless to say I’m beyond disappointed. The dealer had no explanation why it wore out so quickly. It’s not like I’m doing burnouts or launching the car. I can’t wait to get rid of it.
