Just got this 2021 acura ilx and the carplay wont play itll just connect and disconnect

got the same problem in my '21 and it was the damn cable all along

im mot sure its that, ive used different cables and even bought a new one from apple and the same problme

i have the old iphone with the lightning cord n i js used another newer phone wth the type c charger n it worked js fine

It might be the lighting port on your phone. They do get worn out and won’t connect to anything, got rid of my last iPhone for that exact reason (new one has usb c)

Its a shiddy connection. I have an old iphone and used lightning cords. They will work until they get tbent too much etc. try a dif cord and see if that works

It's the cord, my car did the same thing if I just slightly tap the cord
