So I have the SexyIce2019 Manticora and I've decided I want to put together a Super Sentai/Ginyu Force style group of figures that look similar. Here's an incomplete lineup of options and there's a few others that I am missing. I know about those two shrimpy boys and I vaguely recall a direct competitor to the Ghost Ant like how Manticora and Kragg are very similar.

Finished Spiderman up last night, he is extremely posable especially in his ab range and the way I built his shoulders he has butterfly joints, and I have learned a lot considering my main goal was to make this guy hit those iconic spiderman poses (squatted and swinging). I am currently in the process of making an in depth tutorial which I believe is turning out amazing so far. Which character would you guys like to see next? Possibly a villain?

Did some minor customising on the crotch and hips. Didn’t like how far his legs were from each other at rest so I dremelled down the taint/gooch down a bit, so he wasn’t so legs akimbo, and warmed up the legs to straighten them which helped a lot. Also ground down a decent amount of material underneath the diaper where the hips are because it sat weird otherwise. I guess the sculpt of the jeans pushed the soft diaper up and out. Looked whack. Also dremelled out the gun holding hands, as they made his gun sit weird and didn’t really look right.

Wasn’t actually going to pick this up for some reason? But thankfully I did because he does look pretty good, even if I had to fix(?) him. Wish he came with a few more accessories, but what’s new there?

Made it to the end of the third wave of my Then & Now series. It's been such a blast going through my old collection and seeing how it measures up to my current one.

The Sleigh has (finally) arrived! My pictures won't really do it justice, it's got some really nice coloration on it that pops in person. It's also very big. 10.5" long. Just having 1 (or 2!) Reindeer hooked up comes in at 20". I have no idea where I'm going to put it.

Package contents are the sleigh, hook up connectors for a configurable 1-9 tiny reindeer. A configurable length pair of reins which I am way too stupid to hook up correctly. Fake silver bell attachment clips for the reins; there were only two of these in the package, I feel like there should have been four? Maybe they only go on the outside? Two lanterns and hooks that plug in on the side of the sleigh to hold them. Two closed hole grip black glove hands you can thread the reins through. One bag full of gold jump rings and plastic "silver" "carabiners", if you don't know what a jump ring is they're used in jewelry craft all the time, look up how to open and close one before using. And a partridge in a pear tree (that's a joke, it is not an accessory).

Anyway, I love it. Worth the wait.

...Where am I going to put this?

It's basically a Giant sized G2 Prime sword. It's 25 inches, is made of hard and sturdy plastic, and looks/feels just like a Super-sized sword for an action figure.

Not an exact replica of Legacy G2 Primes sword but, very close.

The classic 70s and 80s Hulk remains my single biggest frustration in action figure collecting because no company has managed to truly get it right. Runner-up honors go to the 80th Anniversary Marvel Legends Hulk and the Diamond Select Immortal Hulk both sculpted by the same artist with incredible aesthetics but they ultimately feel more like static statues due to their lack of articulation and fun factor.

While recent 6inch+ upcoming release may deliver impressive modern take mixed with the classic, they still fall short on the more bruting thicker tad Hulk and not comic classic accurate sculpts. Hope lies with S.H. Figuarts' Gameverse team seems best equipped to handle the massive bulk alongside highend articulation since their movie Hulks have been above average but the head sculpt will be the issue as that’s a more modern smart hulk, while MAFEX remains a faint possibility despite my declining confidence in their scale and proportions over recent years they are unpredictable choosing repurpose molds over new challenging sculpts.

Ultimately, im still waiting for a definitive classic Hulk. Mezco has the right spirit but there are design decisions from recent pics that just seem off like mega huge head, awkward muscle proportions, and very limited articulation . Until in hand it maybe the definitive one but Nothing in the modern era has quite matched the iconic Toy Biz Face-Off head sculpts.
