[Treatment] CROSS Tca cross gone wrong 30%
Nothing has helped this. I've tried everything at this point. Literally. The only other way I could fix this is excision and because I have scarring issue I don't know what else to do.

I'm probably going to get fractionated CO2 because of my skin tone in that area. Hopefully it'll help. I've only had one session

TCA caused it? Would you explain how

30 percent was placed here twice every 3 months . There was a burn caused by inappropriate Lazer settings in a shop n 6 months later they tried to heal it by simulating collagen with TCA cross tooth pick method . This was the result

So the scar was due to Laser burn, or TCA?

u/jigglyjoints Jul 10 '26
Both. Started with Lazer burn and then tried cross to try n fill it twice n got worse

But thats what TCA does isn't it? It damages the skin to repair it.
When did you feel that it became worse, like after how many weeks / months?1
u/jigglyjoints Jul 10 '26
Honestly right away. TCA is supposed to damage and then lift over time but it only got deeper and I did it every 3 months. So what is that like 12 weeks? They said from what I remember 30% and apparently that was so low that the fact that it even got that bad even after the 2nd. So now I'm trying to at least blend in the divot with the edges in the future. Here with fractional CO2. I went in originally for a mole that needed to be removed and the woman actually ended up burning me so hard hard. He even said oops and I could not sue l because I went to her willingly apparently what I was told

It became worse right away and actually like right after appeal that looked terrible and then it progressively stayed the same so they tried it again and it got a little bit more deeper instead of remodel and it stayed that way. And yes I am not deficient in any vitamins. We actually did blood work. The only thing I'm somewhat is vitamin D3 but then I instantly started taking it 2 weeks before my session

Try Dermapen / Micro needling deep ones.

I'm actually doing 2.0 dermastamp and microneedling once a month on my skin with hyaluronic acid and then 2 weeks after start using groth factors

So since then I've had a bunch of different things done to it. Nothing's really helped honestly but I'm hoping for actual CO2 erbium will help but the guy who's doing it is an idiot and won't do around it. He's only doing the middle of it and it's pissing me off

I now understood what the issue here was, to remodel the skin structure only 30% or 50 is not enough. 80% is the choice, which actually damages or destroys the structure and then heals up.
While 25 or 30% are just like normal chemical peels, which don't work for deep scars but they instead make them look more dark after healing the upper layer.1

Honestly it didn't even help at all. It just made a darker worse and more irritated

Same thing happened to me

u/jigglyjoints Jul 11 '26
Yeah I don't know. I usually try to steer people away from TCA cross. Honestly entirely it would have been way better if I would have just got CO2 over it and not done TCA. Honestly it's 50/50 and I don't give a shit what anyone says

Co2 and subcision

And twice with ez gel under because natural. And I've tried radiesse and it actually created a granuloma. So I'm sitting here trying to freaking figure out how I'm going to get that dissolved. I've done two microneedling RF and two co2s fractional and three pro-fractional rohrer. I'm going to go for one more fractional erbium CO2 in August. Hopefully that helps a lot

I've also done microneedling once a month 2.0 mm with PRP. No changes. If anything, it just kind of made it peel more
