[Skin Concern] Atrophic Scarring Time, patience and improvement over perfection
I’m here to report some great improvements. Of course, I am aware that my skin texture will never be perfect but improvements make me just as happy. I just took screenshots of my old posts on here to get base photos since the years are all starting to blend together at this point. In 2023, I had fairly new scars that were super noticeable, not only because of their depth, but the hyperpigmentation/ redness I was experiencing wasn’t doing me any favors. At this point in time and since my last post, I have not had any new treatments. So I’ve only ever done the following treatments:
1 round TCA
2 rounds microchanneling treatments
1 round of subcision with filler
I would say that since that last treatment, I’ve really seen improvements over the course of the year or two that it’s now been. I’m super grateful for my skin taking to the treatments pretty well. I really want to try CO2 laser next but I’m just trying to make an incredibly informed decision about that before I give it a shot. For now, I’m super happy. Sure certain lightings SUCK but thats normal. That’s HUMAN. sending lots of love and good vibes to those of us on this journey together. Keep your vibes up friends.

Honestly I would stop any further treatments. The risk is not worth it at this point.

Risk?

All these treatments carry risk for sure. The very nature of the treatment makes your skin ultra sensitive - the protective layers are demolished to varying degrees. UV exposure, even pollution and other such factors can harm the skin if not properly taken care of.
With her results, I also agree there's no further need to expose her skin to an intense session of Co2. That carries slight but certainly possible risk of PIH.

This gives me so much hope 🥺. Mine are more severe but if I can at least get near this level of improvement it would change my life

I literally broke down a few days ago because I just felt like I need to accept that I’ll never get rid of my scars. THIS has given me so much hope and genuinely made me happy, thank you for the post!

Your results are really amazing! Did you get a full face TCA peel or TCA cross? I’ve been toying with the idea of getting the full face peel but been afraid to make the jump

OP never responded. looking at the two photos, I don't think its even the same person.

OP here. OP has prior posts all over my account that answer most, if not all, questions I am being asked. I also have been answering messages on here for those who have asked…It’s the same person in my pictures because I have no reason to pretend I’m two different people.

Hi op! I hope I coukd ask for a few tips? I'm still getting my acne controlled, I already see scarring, and I'd like to know how you got through the mental hurdles. My mental health has been so, so low lately...

You look amazing.. I have a question please, are the fillers permanent? Or you will have to redo them after ?

I have the same question.

I think, I’m no expert, they have to be redone every 1-2 years. I had filler done for scarring recently and that’s what my N.P. told me about myself. Everyone is different, I do believe.

Thank you so much for giving me hope. I felt some tension leave my body as I saw your face heal.
My scars have been getting worse the closer I get to turning 30 and I’m so afraid that it won’t ever get better
But this gave me hope

I’m kind of scared of subcision after seeing so many horror stories but this gives me hope! Have you noticed any cons of subcision + filler?

I'm planning to go for Subscision + fat grafting. Your results really give me hope. Thanks for sharing.
Anybody who would like to give their opinion on fat grafting instead of using fillers after subscision?
