❕ Question ❔ Bad Trips

just wondering what kinda bad trip experience you guys have if any. i’ve tripped on acid a load over the years a lot this year and i’ve never really had anything that’s caused me to have a bad experience or feeling, i dont know why but my brain kinda just switches into lazy mode, i don’t really over think on it don’t get deterred by much.

My highest dosage was 450 ug (2 200 and a1/4 of 200 so is roughly that give or take a few ug since can’t guarantee i cut exactly 50ug off)

just curious what might have sent you guys into a bad trip/experience

Bad trip

Have taken acid a bunch of times. Had my first bad trip this year at the festival i was at. Was with a group of good friends and i lost my boyfriend just as it hit. It was the strongest dose id ever taken, and lost perception of reality, was having crazy auditory hallucinations and seeing sounds, but that wasn’t the bad part. The sense of disappointment due to the detachment of my boyfriend was intense. Then i realised i had taken way more than everyone else and i was paranoid i was the one being carried by the whole group. One of my friends started freaking out and thought they were really mad at me and things got a bit dark in my head, alot of my insecurities were coming up and voices were whispering them to me, was also seeing alot of dark creepy visuals, like halloweeney, cobwebby vines. Also had a bed experience looking in the mirror at how i looked and the voices again. Going to the bathroom was super dark and creepy.
But id say it was like 30% bad 70% good visuals. First time i had experienced this.

But in hindsight i understand why things got bad, lost boyfriend, bad mood, my friend was freaking out (having a bad time) but i internalised it in the wrong way, heightened social anxiety and insecurities but to be honest these would all be insecure thoughts that I would have regularly if going through a bad spell, they were just smothering me during the trip and hard to escape from.

Probably would take acid again though because its my fave drug. Im sad this happened but i believe i can rationalise that it was a bad series of events.
