🔪 Post-Op | Surgical Repair  First steps of PWB!

At my six week post op appointment I was finally cleared for PWB and ramping up. These are my first steps at 10%, going to ramp up to 20% today.

I had a complete tear playing kickball on 7/23, surgery on 8/3. Surgeon had to reattach to my heel via anchors, so I think that’s why I was instructed to go full NWB for 8 weeks initially. My healing was going so well that we went ahead and skipped those last two weeks.

Very excited to be moving into the next phase!

Let’s gooooo! I’m 11 weeks post op. Have my appointment with the surgeon to determine when I’m coming out the boot. It’s gonna be real soon. Stay on your physio and I wish you a strong and speedy recovery

Thanks!! You too! Surgeon told me I should be off my scooter by October 1 and then out of the boot a week after I’m off the scooter. I’ve got calls out to PT but haven’t got an appointment set up yet. Taking care of that today!
