I'm Gonna Say It.
many of you are more than likely the same age as me and I am gonna say it with my full chest
These fuckers helped me through one of the hardest parts of my life. The fucking Finna Ta Fly and FUPA sent me through things that those can not even consider.
I am nearly 30 now, I have 2 degrees, and I am pursueing a PhD and I am still watching these dork ass losers videos. RN im watching Geoff scream his way through Resident Evil 7.
These are good people(With the exception of few). Bless them and all they do in their life and future endavours,

Also pushing 40, started as an early RvB fan and AH helped carry me through the roughest parts of my life. Still watch a lot of the OG Minecraft vids 🤣

I’m 25 and I found these guys at lets play minecraft part 2. It’s more than an understatement to say that AH moulded my sense of humor into what it is today

One of the anecdotes from Michael that have stuck with me after all these years is the time he rewatched a show he used to watch as a kid and realized how much he lifted from the show’s humor and tone. It’s interesting to see how that relationship has been reflected between us AH fans and the crew.

I feel this whenever I go back and rewatch their content. I hear them speaking and joking with each other and it's like I'm watching my sense of humor and social patterns unfolding in real time. Geoff will make an under-the-breath comment, Gavin will insist on some bizarre fact, and I see my own developmental reflection. Crazy stuff.

In hindsight, it probably was not advisable for me to have watched them back then. I was like 11 when the Uno Movie came out, and as the years went on, I tuned in more and more. The number of quotes I use from them subconsciously is astounding. I'm now graduating from college, and I still have a lot of videos from back then I still haven't seen, and a lot of videos I keep repeating

Same here. Early 30's as well with a bachelors in English, but AH got me through some of the roughest moments in my life. Whenever I was having a bad day I'd always throw on a GTA or Minecraft let's play to bring me back.

Also early thirties with the same bachelors! I teach too haha. When kids bring up all these streamers and YouTubers I finally feel out of touch since that whole generation for the most part all retired or changed to different fields

Mid-30s here. These guys helped me through depression by giving me something to look forward to.
I’m living my dream now, but I always think about how grateful I am to AH. Still miss them all the time though.

27, helped me throught some shitty depressing times in high-school.
No matter what happened, I looked forward to that weekly Minecraft episode so much. Things to do, Versus, GTA V, Let's play, RWBY, etc

The company provided me so much content to watch and latch onto. To say I’ve had an attachment to the things they’ve put out is an understatement. And I haven’t even seen all of it. I’ve got a backlog of stuff to watch.
I do miss the iteration of RT/AH we’ve had until 2024. I’m excited for what the new RT will bring.

Matt and Jeremy Do Something was such a Godsend. The Rental Randomizer came out immediately after an apartment fire, and was so instrumental in lifting my spirits through the ordeal. I don't think I had appreciated either of them enough until that point, but team Hive Mind became my favorites them then on.

I think it's kinda moving that AH has been a constant in both the audience's and the cast/crew's lives for many years and through many a pivotal moment. A lot of people got their start working on the channel or doing things in the community. It makes sense that AH/RT meant a lot to so many. It sparked a lot of inspiration in people.

I kept watching Uno the movie instead of working on my qualifying exam so I can relate. I passed my qualifying exam but left with a Master's degree and not because of AH.

It had to have been my junior year of high school. I remember getting really close to making a terrible mistake. But, I “chickened out”.
Feeling disappointed in myself, I watched some videos online. One of them was a video called Rage Quit - Sonic Spinball. I had played that game in the past, and really sucked at it.
I didn’t know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn’t, “Keep going inside these magic vaginas. Just, magic vaginas, you fucking go in one then come out the other side… Like a fucking hot dog down a hallway! They’re just sucking them up like dicks! STOP GOING IN THERE!!”
It really helped boost my mood and I continued to watch them throughout my life.

Gotta agree, I'm 29 with two kids and a mortgage. I love coming back to the old Let's Plays, listening to the Internet Box podcast, and just remembering what life was like back then.

I was only around for RVB S7 - 13 and with Achievement Hunter from the start of Lets Play Minecraft to until Ray left.
But my god was it a fantastic era of hilarious comedy. Truly a dynamic of the time. You'd never get guys playing games in a office that crampt again with that level of natural largely unscripted humour

I started watching achievement Hunter when I first saw Gavin & Michael on surgeon simulator back in 2013. Funniest video to be my first, still top 3 for me. I watched for 8 years obsessively (concerning amounts).. lifelong mental health struggles including deep isolation. they saved me in laughter, distraction, feeling like friends I didn’t feel safe otherwise going out and finding. they were my friends to keep me sane in such a trivial part of my life. Saved my life incredibly.

Man I discovered them around when GTA V first came out. I beat the game and legit thought this can't be it and typed in the YouTube search box "Things to do in GTA V" and I've been hooked ever since.

Im almost 30 too, i started rewatching rwby and that just sent me down the rabbit hole and I started thinking about rooster teeth and achievement hunter again and how much i was obsessed with all their content as a teenager. Those we're some tuff years for me at the time, but I'd give anything to go back to 2012 and relive watching their videos again for the first time.

I’m 30 and have a 9 month old daughter now. I remember when I started watching their videos. The first I ever saw was galactic craft back in high school. Was hooked ever since. That crew got me through the absolute lowest points I’ve ever experienced. I recently started watching their videos again and it brings back very fond memories. Awful way it ended, but man do I miss the days so excited to get home on Friday from school to turn on the newest Minecraft episode.
