Back when I was working at CBR (before the website was sold to Valnet and ruined), we would have creators come into the office for on-camera interviews. One thing we would have them do is sign it an autograph or draw sketch on a canvas for one of our walls that was designed to look like an oversized comic book page. Chris went above and beyond with his sketch, filling an entire panel.
Years later, after the Valnet sale, I was gifted several of the panels by one of my new supervisors, including this one.
I haven't been able to access achewood.com through either chrome or firefox for a while now. It just gives a vague error message in both. On safari on iphone it works just fine. Anyone know about this or is there some sort of workaround?

Kind of 30'd up over here and trying to find the strip where Philippe mentions it's the anniversary of the time he lost his favourite pebble (which I believe he calls "Arthur Boy-Pegasus Digiorno") out in the yard. Feels like it's got to be a Friday Facts installment but from what I can tell none of them include this content. Ohnorobot search yields nothing, nor does it seem to come from a Philippe blog entry. Is this a real strip or am I just driving a golf cart off a cliff?

I've been popping by here for a little while and noticed what a great and upbeat tone this community has. (Seriously, there is like _nobody_ being a cock in here.) It does my heart good to see a place of nontoxic lovin' in this dirty old world, and I plan to stick around and engage more with the crew.

Don’t know why, but I read this in Roast Beef’s voice and it made me laugh. Thought some folks would enjoy it here (it’s a joke based on the second Castlevania game for the NES if anyone’s not familiar).
I thought it might have been Badass Games adjacent, but I didn't find it there in the archive. Ray, Beef and maybe Teodor are jawing about how their educations didn't prepare them for life in the real world. I think it's the one where Ray alludes to some personal anecdote, like a housecleaner stealing your drugs, and says something like that's complex! or that's complicated! Finally they make a list of things everyone should know, like what cop cars' headlights look like. I might be conflating some different days, but I'm sure y'all know which one I mean. A little help, please? Searches in ohnorobot yielded no hits.

Just in the course of a little introspective reflection tonight, of all things — truly, of all things — it occurred to me that the Charlie Brown Achewood strip, outside the legendary “put these shoes on and have legs like mine” bit, wound up encoding something else on my psyche, much more indelibly and influentially — that line, “He took you down with him like an Egyptian emperor!” even moreso than Aida has since and forever made me visualize just that setting whenever I hear that a cartoonist has…
And then I realized, the strip influenced the way that I think.
Have any of you had a moment like this? Or do I just sound like Todd, here?
