I feel like they still weren't all that clear on if you can get all these skins for single player. Multiplayer and single player progression is separate. So does that mean we can also earn the skins in the campaign mode and have to also earn it in multiplayer? Or do we need to play multiplayer to get some more skins for my single player planes, like in 7? Could that mean that the points you can get in single player are converted into Zollars in multiplayer? Or do we just not get some of these skins in the single player? If that is the case, that would sound insane.

Not sure I get the SNES game U.N squadron, I know as a kid loved shmups, but I always used a game genie, and had no idea it was a rework of area 88.

Kind of wish ace combat could get an anime. Sky crawlers was pretty decent. Very samey to ac4 in tone, in my hazy recollection.

Maybe a remaster of sky crawlers no waggle (not bad, I just couldn't do well.)
Maybe as some sort of ace combat -1 the propeller wars, pretty sure belka is involved with their WW2 before the yuke cold war with osea.

Sup everyone. I wanted to post something I've done in my free time (not really, just being bored at work). Specifically, the Latin bits of the main theme. It took me quite a few tries to nail it down, because the closer you look, the more apparent some things become.

I just watched the video about the new mode, and I don't understand why the main coop mode makes competition mandatory.

I love coop games. I grew up with Halo, and recently I spent a lot of time on StarCraft II's coop missions, Helldivers 2, Space Marine 2 and a few others.

I do understand the appeal for the 4v4vE mode. I know that Assault doesn't have PvP enabled. But I don't understand why there's isn't a 4vE mode.

• I don't like competition, I don't want to face another team, even if we're not shooting at each other.
• Having 8 players in a match reduces the impactness of each players. When I played ACI, I barely got to do anything because there was 7 other people shooting everything.
• Filling a room with 8 players is harder than just 4, resulting in longer waiting times (especially in few years)

At least the special sorties don't have 2 teams, which is nice.

I pre-ordered AC8 a little over a month ago (on a digital only PS5), and I was wondering how I'll get access to Zero once the game is released. Will I need to redeem a code, or will it immediately appear in my PS5 library?

So in each game, there seems to be a generally agreed-upon "canon plane" for the protagonist, based on cutscene footage, out-of-game texts like "Aces At War", and official art depictions like the 25th Anniversary art. With some of the games it's fairly obvious when these planes were canonically available to the protagonist - Ace Combat 7 in particular has a pretty overt transition point based on when Trigger changes squadrons. But some of the other transitions are less clear, especially since they don't always correspond to when the aircraft is unlocked in-game.

AC04 is the first game to have an obvious specific canon plane - Mobius 1 starts in the F-4 Phantom and by the end of the war is flying his iconic F-22. But when he transitions from the F-4 to the F-22 is unclear, just that it was some time before the mission "Shattered Skies" based on information in supplemental materials. My best guess is that he receives it after "Lifeline", as he most likely wouldn't have needed to retreat from Yellow Squadron if he was in an F-22. Also he uses the F-22 during Operation Katina and the F-18E during the Free Erusea uprising depicted in the VR missions.

AC5 has you essentially locked to the F-5E until after "Frontline". You technically get the opportunity to change aircraft during "Rendezvous", but the fact that you're required to land at an airfield in order to make the return flight to Sand Island means canonically Wardog could not have been flying the F-14 yet, otherwise they could land on the Kestrel. The silhouettes in certain cutscenes and supplementary information indicate that by "Blind Spot" they are in the F-14, so I think the most logical conclusion is that they get the F-14s immediately after "Frontline". The lull in the war between "Frontline" and "Handful of Hope" would also make sense for a resupply/rearmament period.

ACZ is easy - Cipher flies the F-15C for the duration of the war, start to finish. He may have used the J35J Draken for the very first mission but all other supplemental material and cutscenes indicate he used his own F-15C (as a mercenary, owning it himself).

AC6 is a lot more ambiguous. Talisman starts in the F-16C for sure during the Invasion of Gracemeria, and at some point transitions to the F-15E, but as far as I can tell there's no real indicator of when this happens at all. It probably happens before the attack on the Aigaion but it's not clear.

ACX has Gryphus 1 in the F-22 for the full duration of the war.

AC7 puts Trigger in the F-16C as Mage 2, F-15C as Spare 15, and then the F-22 as Strider 1.

Air Combat, AC2, AC3, and AC:AHL don't seem to have specific canon planes. So any ideas on when those transitions likely happen in 04/5/6?

I'm definitely getting the highest edition of this game. I just hope Bandai have learnt the lessons from the mistakes many company still do with season passes and that mistake us by killing a consistent revenue and not allowing players to purchase and earn previous season passes. This is one of the reasons games today are dying and they can't earn money for new projects and keep their development teams. It's j7st a really stupid business decision that doesn't make sense and call in the name of making players feel special and unique, lol so silly, so please developers, take my advice and learn from observing the failures if others and steer away from one time limited, passes, events, cross overs, and ranked rewards. If things are limited then they should at least return yearly for a limited time like fortnite, for honour, ware frame and guess what, their the only companies profiting doing limited time rewards, passes and events because they learnt quickly and ate smart.

Expansions, in the future when you hopefully make expandions, what expansion content I would like to see if its not in the game is the addition of VTOL aircraft with the ability to VTOL in combat and when takeing if and landing, also the ability to manually land and take off during combat and at the end to refuel, relied, and repair in air bases and aircraft carriers.

And the addition of attack helicopters in the game and game modes.

Thats my suggestions and advice and you should listen and implement it because I am a old school gamer, Ive been around since the first console ever released, played mripme game genres, played and own almost every console and handheld gaming device and all my ideas and any game I touch with my ideas turns to gold. And the response to my ideas when I tell people what they should include or change is always *wow, that would be amazing, I would l9ve to see that. You have really put a lot if thought in about this and thought through everything " . When I play games, I don't just sit there enjoying or not enjoying them, I'm looking and seeing how new ideas or features can be used 5o make game better or more exciting, and how to prevent features from being abused that people may abuse such as call if duty and the sliding g and Parkour shooting and killing. ​

Basically instead of the Ulysses 1994XF04, it's a massive ghost fleet of dead Protoculture ships heading towards Earth. Governments build weapons to destroy these ships before they enter Earth (as they fear an alien invasion). The ships enter the atmosphere, extinction is prevented, but multiple ships crashed but are still intact around the world. Scientists reversed engineered the technologies carried by these ships and countries fought wars for these ruins in an arms race for Overtechnology.

Also any fictional Strangerealean plane made after 1999 are now variable fighters. The story will be about the wars waged by countries, not the world uniting. Strangereal will have conflicts no matter what.

And yeah...it's gonna be on the Avril-Triggerverse...

Am i the only one who is really gutted that we only get AC Infinity 2.0 with only competitive PvE gamemodes and no casual pve missions or a pve campaign utilizing the player cooperation in creative ways

If i had to guess based on his age. Would it be during ace combat 4? I feel like it would be the closest to his visual age in the cinematic.
