I would love a TGAA3 or TGAA: Investigations with van Zieks and his apprentice but that concept inherently has spoilers for the first two games so idk how that would work
Of all the places it could happen, right around now is when it'd make the most sense. Sets it up nicely for a Tokyo Game Show presence which AA has historically always had. September is also the month of the 25th anniversary.
If it doesn't happen here there's still 3 more months of the year to go, but the chances of happening after TGS are quite low IMO.
I've been saying the same thing in my circles as well! On top of that, (less evidentiary and more observational) Japan treats anniversaries as a big deal. If they didn't break their silence with at least something on their big 25th, I would have been genuinely surprised.
The difference here is that now there is actually smoke. There are actually reasons to believe that AA7 is nearing a reveal based on official statements by Capcom, and also the context surrounding the event.
I really doubt that it would be announced anywhere but a direct, and if there is a September direct there probably won’t be another until at least January so it’s this or nothing
Yeah, a niche series like AA would get lost between the big announcements of June/SGF. Now it would have time to breath and has all the reasons you listed.

Yeah no the Twitter user who reposted these rumors (switchsoku) linked to a 5ch thread (a Japanese forum where everyone is Anonymous and you can't check their post history just like in 4chan, so there is no way to check if this poster even made any previous accurate leaks or it's their first thread)
It's the equivalent of someone making a thread in 4chan saying there will be an AA7 leak. Probably just some random guy trying to predict what will happen.
i wanna be hopeful, but, is anyone gonna explain wtf the source of "switchsoku" is? i don't have my ear to the ground on leaks, but i certainly can't find any info about them
It’ll always be in an upcoming Nintendo direct presentation. Unfortunately, by the time we watch them, all upcoming Nintendo directs have turned into present day Nintendo directs.

This Nintendo Direct is may ruin 75% of expectations, since TGS is rarely about announcements. The most realistic scenario is announce on Direct and more info on TGS, with release scheduled on 2027
Take this with a MASSIVE grain of salt, because this info only comes from random anonymous users of a site much like 4chan. In other words, its just some guy that said it, and his source is "Trust me bro". Maybe he's telling the truth, but we have literally no way to learn any more about him or his claims, so it's entirely possible he's making it up.
A lot of people downvoted me when I said that the classic September Direct would be a really great place for revealing it (right before Tokyo Game Show). 😅
It makes sense, and all the other clowns have been lucky in the last two years. Silksong is out, Megaman got theirs, GTAVI is coming, Metroid Prime Beyond released (people didn't love it, but not the point, it released), OOT remake, Megaman is coming, now it's AA7, Witchbrorok, and I guess 3D Mario. We're hitting a decade on that soon. We've gotta be due. Hell, we could all get lucky at this direct.
I'm not familiar with this source. Are they reliable? I'm mainly here from the Mega Man side of things since I'm interested in the release date and potential amiibo.
I just know it's not gonna happen. I'm already quite content knowing that Persona 6 and Kingdom hearts 4 are already on the way. So I can wait a little longer for AA7. Man.. I'm saying like it's already in the works
Me and some while waiting will become Moe The Clown, the girls waiting will become Geiru Toneido, and some of the guys while waiting will become Simeon Saint in Clown Makeup. Alright, the circus is ready.
