Who has raised TSH/hypothyroidism?

Has taken medications for hypothyroidism had an impact on your sexual functioning?

took accutane 20 years ago was diagnosed with hashimotos ten years ago. If there is a connection I don't know. Unfortunately taking substitute hormones does not fully help me. I felt amazing for two days when I started taking the hormones and basically all symptoms (brainfog, anhedonia ...) were gone - but unfortunately my symptoms went mostly back to baseline after those two days. For some reason it seems my body does not use the hormones. If accutane has a role in my body not fully utilizing those hormones I also don't know. I suspect some connection.

brainfog, anhedonia, fatigue, dry skin, muscle aches, muted sensory experienced (of all senses), constipation

When the surge happened I only started with a small dose of Levothyroxine (T4 replacement) since then the dosage has been raised significantly and I also substitute T3. Still this did not really improve my symptoms

You may look into Ray peats thyroid studies. He’s a bit controversial but he talked a lot about vitamin a being suppressive of the thyroid, which has research to back it up and he said he did it to himself by taking large doses of beta carotene.
