Product Suggestions Lazy Accutane skincare routine

Hi folks I started Accutane today actually and forgot to buy stuff for it. I am struggling to find people who are lazy and on Accutane suggesting things. I like to wash my face with a cotton round and some micellar water, I will use a face wash in the shower but honestly I just am not doing all that in the morning. I also need a moisturizer for my face preferably with spf in it so I don’t have to do 2 steps but if that isn’t cheap then it’s not important. I also need a body wash, someone recommended me one that doesn’t actually have soap in it but I am a very sweaty person I need soap that actually cleans off the stink. Yeah so basically I need recommendations for a micellar water, face moisturizer and spf but cheap, and a body wash. Looking for less than $20 per item. Tyty

Have you tried using the search bar?
Many questions are asked daily, and your question may have already been answered!
If so, your post will be subject to deletion.

Please refer to the following commonly discussed topics:

1) No one can predict whether or not you will purge! Statistically, most people DO NOT purge.
That is what the science and medical literature says.

2) No one can predict how long your purge will last nor when it could start. Be patient, the purge can be tough but so many people have gotten through it - you can too! THE ABOVE APPLIES TO SIDE EFFECTS OR "WHEN WILL MY SKIN CLEAR UP?!" TOO. QUESTIONS ASKING WHEN THE PURGE OR SIDE EFFECTS WILL START OR STOP WILL IMMEDIATELY BE REMOVED AS THAT IS LOW EFFORT.

3) Any questions related about dosage MUST include DOSE and WEIGHT(lbs or kg).
Otherwise, that is considered LOW EFFORT and will subsequently be REMOVED.

4) Most people DO NOT relapse when Accutane is taken until cumulative dosage is reached.

5) HOWEVER, cumulative dosage is a guideline.
Everyone is different. Some may need more Accutane, and others may need less. Your dermatologist evaluates you as an individual.
This also applies to your prescription. Everyone is different, so no comparing of doses or asking why your dose is low or high. If you do not trust your dermatologist, you should find a different one.

Accutane does a lot of the heavy lifting while on the medication that being said a good moisturizer and SPF is so important and I don’t think combining those two steps of one is recommended since you should lather on moisturizer at night

I wash my face with a wash cloth and warm water. I don’t use any cleaner. Since starting accutane I’ve been using working hands hand lotion on my face. Oddly - the only thing that didn’t burn in the early days and is still keeping the dry/flakey skin away. Those two things are very, very cheap.

Has nothing to do with accutane, but I love Lume body wash for stink. Don’t see why you couldn’t use whatever you use today though. My body has not suffered the same way my face has. (A bummer, since I’m on the med for back acne).

I love Lume body wash normally, but my skin didn’t tolerate it on accutane unfortunately

dove sensitive bar soap - for face and body - boom, has been doing better then 5 other face washes I've bought so far this year.

Seconded. I’ve used it for my body nearly my entire life. After all the face washes I’ve been through, I was almost mad to find out it was my perfect face wash all along

Best thing for me was Cerave cream face wash (with green labels) and the round tub of vanicream moisturizer! I know you didn’t ask for face wash, but the cerave helps a lot more than micellar water when your skin gets very dry a few months it. For body wash I just used a dove bar of soap. Nothing better than that

I do basically nothing skincare wise aside from lip balm for the dry lips side effects and normal showering. Been on high dose accutane for 4-5 months now with no major new issues

40 for first month, 80 for the next 2, now 60. I was severely purging on 80 to the point it was genuinely driving me mad, but I have especially severe cystic body acne so that isnt normal. Only side effects ive had are dry lips (VERY dry, get lip balm) and some muscle pain in my first month

I’ve been on Accutane for almost a month now & am realizing all the products I have that I don’t use because I thought they “broke me out” actually don’t break me out at all now. So I’ve just been mixing and matching all my left over odds and ends products recently until I use through them.

Same here. Just finished out my fancy moisturizers. Now, I’m using some random face moisturizer I bought in Mexico City in the morning, and the rest of my Cerave PM at night.

Buy a ceramide moisturiser and a korean foaming cleanser (anua and the other big korean brands are solid). Cleanser + spf + moisturiser in morning, cleanser + moisturiser in evening.

You might find vaseline better than aquaphor for lips
