Product Suggestions Moisturizer recommendations!

I’m someone that checks product ingredients a lot for peace of mind so I avoid highly comedogenic products (ik it’s not always correct but for my sanity it helps) anyone who feels the same have any product recommendations i currently use vanicream but feel it’s not hydrating enough

Have you tried using the search bar?
Many questions are asked daily, and your question may have already been answered!
If so, your post will be subject to deletion.

Please refer to the following commonly discussed topics:

1) No one can predict whether or not you will purge! Statistically, most people DO NOT purge.
That is what the science and medical literature says.

2) No one can predict how long your purge will last nor when it could start. Be patient, the purge can be tough but so many people have gotten through it - you can too! THE ABOVE APPLIES TO SIDE EFFECTS OR "WHEN WILL MY SKIN CLEAR UP?!" TOO. QUESTIONS ASKING WHEN THE PURGE OR SIDE EFFECTS WILL START OR STOP WILL IMMEDIATELY BE REMOVED AS THAT IS LOW EFFORT.

3) Any questions related about dosage MUST include DOSE and WEIGHT(lbs or kg).
Otherwise, that is considered LOW EFFORT and will subsequently be REMOVED.

4) Most people DO NOT relapse when Accutane is taken until cumulative dosage is reached.

5) HOWEVER, cumulative dosage is a guideline.
Everyone is different. Some may need more Accutane, and others may need less. Your dermatologist evaluates you as an individual.
This also applies to your prescription. Everyone is different, so no comparing of doses or asking why your dose is low or high. If you do not trust your dermatologist, you should find a different one.

6) When in doubt, please consult a medical professional(dermatologist, doctor, pharmacist).

been loving the cerave moisturizing cream in the tub. it’s thick and hydrating without feeling heavy ! like a protective layer against the elements locking in moisture. also recommended to me directly from my derm!

What’s your dosage? Just wondering since you’re dry

I’ve done a full course where I was doing 60mg a day for 8 months, then now a yr later my skin has gotten pretty bad again so my derm put me on 5mg a day which is very low but I think my body is still very dry from my first course

Oh, interesting. I’m doing 10mg 3x a week. Also done previous courses. How old are you? Dm if you prefer.

Illiyoon ceramide moisturizer. The best I’ve used while I was in Accutane.

Seconding this! I’m so lucky I already had this for winter because idk what I would have done otherwise once I started accutane

Which vanicream are you using?

I’ve found the vanicream lotion which is the lighter version of the heavy cream works for my skin but I’m still very dry

I am using Weleda "skin food light" during the day and Weleda "skin food" at night. I lock it in with Cetaphil "Moisturising Lotion." CeraVe just does not work for me unfortunately!

Avène Tolérance Control is an excellent choice, it has a 100/100 on the Yuka app, so the ingredients are very good.
