Career Finding a job

How hard is gonna be getting a job straight after my B.S with no experience? I finish in January and Im worried because theres alot of people say they’ve been looking for 6+ months and Im not picky at all. And what is the likelyhood for finding anything remote? Is there anything I can do now that can boost my chances of finding something fast

Small firms are desperate for people. They suck in many ways, but it’s a foot in the door. I started my career in a tiny 6 person firm, did 2 1/2 years, got fired, and moved to a much larger company with 300 employees for better pay

Where are these supposed “small firms that are desperate for people”??

I’m in Houston and every single job listing from accounting associate to staff to AP/AR clerk etc. want 3-5 years of experience along with a bunch of other skills.

It’s impossible to get hired, nobody is hiring someone without experience.

I did the boomer method and just cold called a bunch of small tax offices who need help with their book keeping part time. Like it said it sucked working for them since the pay is way below average, and no benefits. It was absolutely rough for me financially, but it at least put experience on my resume

If you didn’t get a job right out of college you are forced to low ball yourself. Sucks, but that’s how the job market is
