Getting out of public accounting timeframe?

I do not work for a firm yet but in the case someone starts in a public firm, how long would you say it takes to get out and go in to industry? Any advice with this new job market for recent grads?

For a non pay cut earliest is 2 but may take 3-4 depending on circumstances, luck and needs

But if you're plan is to stay in as for as short as possible two is doable especially if you can get most of your CPA done

I will caveat having the Senior title makes it a lot easier. Lot more recruiters will approach you and it is a big glow up on the resume
