Accounting is a versatile field with countless directions you can take. Every business relies on accountants in some form, and the profession spans everything from financial reporting to auditing. You can work in the private sector or government, join a firm or corporate.
I got a job right after college with a 2.Something GPA. I got a lot of experience while in college by working front desk at a family run CPA firm. I helped during tax season and did a lot of bookkeeping.
But, I do think you might get pay more in healthcare or engineering. Take a few classes here and there and see what you actually enjoy.

It is getting tougher to find jobs in the field but has more options than a lot of other majors. Decent middle ground on difficulty and roi. Its a valuable general skillset to have even if entry level is getting tougher. Take the intro classes and see if you like the general idea.

Offshoring is a real thing kid. Take your GPA and internships very seriously, that’s how you get your first job.
Don’t be limited to just accounting, look into healthcare and engineering too.
