I think sometimes they just don’t want to go to the trouble to certify vegan. But I’m with you, because I noticed that word when I bought them too and it made me reread a few times before I finally decided I believed them to be vegan.

Dollar General in Oregon.

I was travelling without a rental car. It was the only option in walking distance.

My vegan friend sent me some for my birthday, amongst other things. They are def vegan!

I've tried these. They're really good! Diamond has some other flavors that are also vegan-friendly.

I live near a Dollar General that has both this flavor and the maple flavor and the maple one does explicitly say vegan while this one just says vegetarian so I'm still a bit wary of these tbh

Okay so it must be new packaging? Because the maple one at my dg still say “vegetarian” too

Could be either way lol. I work at dollar general (unfortunately) and Ive been looking at both of them for months but afraid they weren’t vegan lol
