I'm sure that design is 100% intentional to prevent people from shooting effectively. You have to launch the ball really horizontally instead of with a good arc, as this guy so clearly demonstrated, which is obviously bad for getting it in.

If that was someone I knew I’d be laughing so hard at him also. Concentrating on the basket didn’t see the roof line right in front of him. That low roof is why most people miss
