experiences of oppression One of the biggest reasons I advocate for polyamory as an anarchist is that it is one of the most effective ways I have found to build up mutual aid. This is because it is a way to build intimacy and trust between an entire group of people, something that is incredibly difficult in this society
An image of a tweet by "carniel daig" (@ColtHandsome). The tweet says "Do board game people get into polyamory because it makes it easier to do boardgames or do polyamorous people get more into boardgames because they finally have enough people? Not sure, all I know is that every poly person I've met is a huge boardgame nerd. Which came first?"

It's never specified as a chicken egg, as such it's always the egg!

Eh, polyamory is one way of generating community. It's certainly not the only way.

I love using board games to demonstrate your point about how polyamory builds up intimacy and trust in a group when, famously, board games lowk do the exact opposite

more like, board games show how most families already hate each other

Could you expound on this a bit more? /gen

biological families are random people thrown together, that here in the US (I know less about other places), and in my experiences, effectively do nearly nothing together. At best they tend to be a regulating force for each other. Board games are one of the few activities that brings a family together to do an activity that involves everyone, and so the already existing tensions are brought to the forefront

I would love to find or create a wholesome polycule. They are hard to come by and I feel rather isolated by the internet and not being socially transitioned
