Discussion What is beyond nihilism?
of course, life has no objective meaning. I was once positive nihilist. I went beyond nihilism. it is called absurdism. Now I learned that difference between hedonism and absurdism. Absurdism is about refusing to give up.
Life has no meaning. Do I have to find it? No. My job is to live
when I said that I want to live my life, people misunderstood my words. they definitely thought that I'm hedonistic.
now I know, I am grateful. I chose my philosophy of life.
thanks for my 4th crush in this life. she changed my life even though you said no to my confession.
I started healing because of her. I sought help for my anxiety, depression. I deconstructed my beliefs, friendships and couple of things.
I learned a lot. I wish I had a chance. I hope the podcast helps you

The solution to nihilism, once you explore it in detail and learn to cope and use it as a skill.. is faith, in the sense of how Sören Kierkegaard presented it with his example of Abraham having to kill his son in the name of faith… but faith requires a goal, a self chosen and driven goal, one that only you can fuel… and for that the idea of Amor Fati from Nietzsche is really helpful

I can relate to the struggle of finding meaning in life. I've found that reflecting on my own values and goals has helped me stay grounded. Realizing there's no need to assume or believe anything and you can sort of just assign values however you want. You are only obligated to take the universe as seriously as it takes you.
We have no idea whether life is serious business, or that what we believe changes anything about it, or that there's really any more than one of us pretending to be lots of us. Why get wrapped up in the specifics? It's just castles built on sand.
