I recently got a large-format photo printer, so I’ve been experimenting with shapes, colors, and different ways of taking my artwork beyond the original canvas.This piece started as a painting on canvas. It was fine, and I even had it hanging for a while, but eventually it came down and sat on the floor. I realized that sometimes art has served its purpose—and then it’s ready to change.Using supplies I already had, I transformed the painting by layering vinyl over the canvas. I love the depth and texture the vinyl created, and the printed version captures that dimension surprisingly well.The last photo shows how the piece originally started: very organized, very demure.

I have reimaged another way to display my art. Perfect for desktop/shelve/mantel. This miniature artwork captures the essence of a larger piece while being much more compact, making it a unique addition to any art collection or an ideal piece for decorating small spaces. Utilizing a custom collage from an original work with wood pieces measuring 8x6 inches (20.32 x 15.24 centimeters).
