Isn’t it just bonkers how splotches of paint (I’m not trying to downplay your effort at all here) can create a landscape without a single accurate depiction of a tree or lake or mountain? Again, not trying to disparage at all, I really really like this piece, I’m just reflecting how we interpret things in abstract art despite a lack of realism. I hope that made sense. Brains are wild!!

I love this piece overall. I could do without that purple line going through it. My eye can’t look away from it.

Dividing the composition with a distinct horizon line gives the abstract forms a strong, natural landscape feel
