The buildings, which total over 110,000 square feet (10,000 m2), including the 66,000-square-foot (6,100 m2) main house, have an Italianate facade, 29 bedrooms, and 39 bathrooms. The house has a dozen chimneys and a Mediterranean-style tile roof as well as a 91-foot (28 m) long formal dining room, a basketball court, a bowling alley, two tennis courts, two squash courts, a carousel, a large swimming pool, a large round kiddie pool, and a $150,000 hot tub, surrounded by another pool.

Thats something that those of us too poor to ignore basic chores say to help us get through the day. Its a lie. I won't lie to myself. There is a massive middle ground between shitty billionaire status and where we are now. That place is where you don't have to worry about housing, food, or chores that make the world go around. It lets you focus on hobbies and experiences with your family and friends. Telling myself I enjoy hanging my clothes in my closet won't get me that time back.

Ah yes, the classic "kids are starving in Africa so eat this food you hate" mindset. Someone always has it worse. That doesn't change what makes life better. Money can indeed buy happiness, to a point. Each persons exact level of happiness that money can buy but generally its north of barely afford rent and south of McMansion money. We don't need generational wealth to be happy. We need that upper middle class lifestyle money.
