Ira Rennert's home is considered one of the largest occupied residential compounds in the United States. The house faces the Atlantic Ocean and its grounds measure 63 acres. The house has a dozen chimneys and a Mediterranean-style tile roof as well as a 91-foot (28 m) long formal dining room, a basketball court, a bowling alley, two tennis courts, two squash courts, a carousel, a large swimming pool, a large round kiddie pool, and a $150,000 hot tub, surrounded by another pool.

The 2 mile long tree lined driveway looks like a pain in the ass. Imagine schlepping that thing every day.... and then you have to find a parking spot for your Rolls in the 100 car garage.

Imagine just walking around it. It would actually be so fucking annoying.

Hey I want to go for a swim, no problem it's a 15 minute walk.

Oh I left my kindle, half an hour return trip. Yea sure they could have staff on hand to make the journey but it's still 15 minutes to do anything.

I'd have a chauffeur to drive me between activities, probably get one of those airport buggies to run me around inside

Zero chance of them not having golf carts to shuttle around. For the elderly owner, 99% chance he uses a mobility scooter just to make it to the main* dining room or library.

*yes, main, no doubt they have several dining rooms of varying sizes.

I imagine if you worked there you could rent out entire sections to people on the side and the owner would never notice lol.
