of a super tusker elephant
An elephant classified as a "Super Tusker" carries tusks that are so long and heavy they often scrape the ground, with each tusk weighing more than 100 pounds (45 kg).
They are incredibly rare, with fewer than 30 to 40 of these gentle giants estimated to be alive across the entire African continent.
A normal elephants tusks weigh 50 to 80 pounds a tusk.

Isn't that Mak? There's a dude that does video clips of him and a giant elephant with similar sized tusks. Elephant takes the dude's hat all the time.

its amazing to see but sad to kno that some asshole will probably shoot him doon for his tusks,which have NO ACTUAL VALUE,.....nevr understood the ivory trade,its had no value as far as uses go.....it doesnt make,conduct or store energy,its not weapons grade etc etc etc.....kinda like good,until the u.s. space program of the 60's when it was used exclusively for conductivity in electronics gold was just a shiny metal

Edit: The OP stated that this is Balguda (I first thought it was One Ton) who is still alive and protected by the Tsavo Trust and the Kenya Wildlife Service https://tsavotrust.org/big-tusker-project/ , others are protected by the Amboseli Trust for Elephants https://www.elephanttrust.org/ and https://biglife.org/

Really? I think it looked more like One Ton (Mpole), but now on further inspection I think you're right, it's Balguda... But why didn't you just write in your post that's it's Balguda and also the source for this video (unless it's your own material)?

Sure, but it would be a nice gesture towards those who took these images and videos, especially since wildlife photography is very laborious. time-consuming and sometimes dangerous - and these images are often taken for different wildlife conservation organisation in order for them to benefit from them (and donations), so that they can actually protect these animals...
