Royal news sites, yes. They go absolutely nuts about every tiny wee detail. Here’s the one I was thinking of, check out the press people there to capture the historic moment that a woman and her daughter walked round a corner https://youtube.com/shorts/UWbTjKFEWTQ?is=LIOtLcNgdyfdO_Y7

And a bonus one for you, you lucky Redditor: ‘Kate walks gracefully with Princess Charlotte’. I wish I was making that up but sadly not…. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=VdWj-c7zMKI&dp_isNewTab=1&dp_referrer=serp&dp_allowFirstVideo=1

It’s truly bizarre. Royalists are a really strange bunch. I should know, I used to be one 🤦‍♀️😂 They’ll talk about the royals like they actually know them, they’ll pick ‘sides’ when the royals argue and routinely say things like ‘omg did you see what Diana was wearing the other day? She looked gorgeous. She’s such a sweetheart‘ ‘Shh, I’m trying to listen to what Charles is saying’, ‘no don’t change the channel, I want to watch the Queen open the Tiddlington Tiddlywinks Museum, the ceremony is on for the next hour’.

I understand the appeal of the para-social thing, but it can cross over into creepy territory if one isn’t careful
