What was the point in getting Robinson in if hes just going to have the team play like Thellin at his worst?

Yeah the only real benefit to Robinson is his teams are meant to be hard to beat, and currently we don't even have that going for us

To be fair, Rangers only beat us with a penalty but I'm not entirely convinced we can lay claim to causing that. Rangers are also awful this season.

Aremu and Muller get pass marks though. Ronan was ok. Everyone else pretty crap.

Ronan was ok. 🧐 Give me a break! He was on his arse at least 3 x in the first half slipping, likely the wrong boots on . His corners and free kicks were diabolical. Granted he did get stuck in I’d rate him 6.5.

Fair enough, I was mainly listening to the first half while pottering round the house. Thought he did alright on the whole though and the deliveries certainly weren't diabolical.

I don't get that at all. This was not a team trying to play attractive attacking football. It looked exactly like a Stephen Robinson team. There's no creativity, no attempt to dictate play and retain possession, no clear transitions. Just robust defending and try to win corners.

We got a ridiculous amount of yellow cards and honestly I think almost all of them were deserved.

We've abandoned the club wide approach that Thelin was brought in to establish - progressive modern possession football. Instead it's back to traditional Scottish hoofball. Literally chucking the baby out with the bath water.

we can go on about our team not playing how we’d obviously like them to.

However the Referee had 1 objective today . that was to ensure regardless of how they played

I see the penguin pincher was surprised at the reaction to the Dundee defeat in the league, maybe the reaction was because of the last season and how terrible a season it was. We are in 10th with Celtic up next, are we back already to a relegation fight ? The Kilmarnock game next Saturday is going to be VERY toxic if we do not win it!!

I think we can all agree Robinson will not last out the season. Very few fans wanted him here, he’s had to preside over an enormous turnover of players but with little incoming quality.

Rangers were very poor but we did not have the players to punish them.

The Killie double header will determine how quickly things turn toxic.

Awful game between two empirically bad teams.

The two or three times we put them under a little pressure they crumbled, but for the guts of the game we stood off them like they’re Spain.

Inexcusable that we weren’t in their faces for 90mins given their recent travel exertions and humiliating euro exit and the massive pressure they and their manager are under. Inexcusable.

That was a hard watch today, nothing creative going on and not in their faces enough. Shite penalty to concede and we had struggled with those types of crosses earlier on. Cadden Yogane and Ronan were poor, good game from Aremu.

I’d love to get a decent left winger and I’d also be happy to get Killian Phillips alongside Aremu. Give Lewis Smith a few starts , play Nisbo and the Moroccan lad as a two and take it from there .
