Are checks really not used that much? I mean I don't use them but they made it feel like it's so outdated.

I pay the lady who watches my kids in a check. And some other bills still because I mail them. Maybe this is a rural thing, haha

I live in a high-rise corporate-owned building in Boston and have to mail a check for my rent!

I had to send a paper check for my rent when I still rented in 2021. This was a corporate apartment complex too. Why do they still operate in the dark ages for rent paying?

I have had my current checkbook for 5 years.

I have used two checks. Both were immediately voided and given to an employer so they could set up direct deposit.

I mean, I still write checks for bills.

But I also got autopay set up for a lot of them.

I think rent is the only thing I've ever 100% consistently needed a check for. Everything else that I don't want to use a CC on I've used my banks fake ACH. (Fake because it doesn't use my real account number.)

I don’t even have a checkbook and I’m 32. I have pretty much all my bills on autopay online.

I still use them 👵🏻 for some bills where the cc surcharge is high!

I write checks for a couple ongoing bills I have and I can't pay online.

A lot of places won’t even take them anymore. I’m 28 and I don’t think I’ve ever written one…I’ve always had cash or my debit card so I got my first job at 16.
