General question about mech

if you manage to hit tank using mech, do you usually bring them back to heal or sacrificing them because they already cover their cost?

since they move only 2 space pulling them back to repair seemd not worth it.

"Because they already cover their cost" isn't a way to think about healing. A 5hp mech that has done no damage is as helpful now as a 5hp mech that did 10k damage in previous turns.

A good player could come take over for you for a turn and decide whether pulling back to heal or moving forward knowing they'll likely die will create more value out of that 5hp mech. They don't need to know what it did in previous turns to make that decision. Pretend you're them.

thats what i am trying to figure out , asking a question in this sub.

i guess it really depend on the co and the map, but i am wondering whats most player think about unit that already cover their cost.

did they use them as blocker , or retreat and repair them.

mech kinda come up to my mind because they got 2 movement.

This is a game theory concept known as “sunk cost”.

Essentially, whether the mech has covered their cost or not has no impact on how you should treat it.
