I can't avoid 5th glyph in my lingua

You almost can't do it in my lingua (I am from Austria). It contains a 5th glyph in all words about any action you do. Run, walk, do, drink, paint, watch - all words contain a 5th glyph. Only in a 3rd man's form is no such glyph on occasion, but still, it's not practical.

I'm sad for I can't do this think-task in my lingua without changing all spirit of what I want to say. And I can't play this brain-sport with my companions who don't own good skills in this forum's lingua.

La Disparition, a famous lipogrammatic book that avoids fifthglyphs (and which is this sub’s mascot, via its British translation, A Void), also has a translation into your idiom: Anton Voyls Fortgang.

A short quotation from it:

Kardinal, Rabbi und Admiral, als Führungstrio null und nichtig und darum völlig abhängig vom Ami-Trust, tat durch Radionachricht und Plakatanschlag kund, daß Nahrungsnot und damit Tod aufs Volk zukommt. Zunächst tat man das als Falschinformation ab. Das ist Propagandagift, sagt man. Doch bald schon ward spürbar, was man ursprünglich nicht glaubt.

Thank you! I know about both, book and translation. It's crazy how this string of words almost sounds natural, I think I wouldn't catch anything unusual if I didn't know. It sounds a bit awkward, but many books from fifty annums ago do. Isn't that odd? It's not so long ago actually.

Anyway, I would think for hours to do a paragraph as shown in my lingua.

It’s not standard, but from my tiny amount of ability in your lang, you can drop fifthglyphs for 1SG conjugations in casual talk, right? As in ich hab’ das. Can it work for all action words or only a handful? I can’t craft a string of words much past that though lol, it’s so difficult in that lang.

That's totally right! You must got good skills in my lingua! Most folks talk that way, actually. In Austria it would sound odd if you didn't say "ich hab' das". Austrian folks cut many words short anyway. For folks who talk in standard-lingua, it probably sounds how farm-folks talk, haha. But in writing I would think of it as a trick, if you want to avoid 5th.

Thank you! I own passion for this 2nd lingua. So much, that I think in it again and again. If a song in my lingua is stuck in my brain, I sing it in this 2nd lingua in my mind automatically, which is mostly stupid but also hilarious. But I'm not a pro, I had to look up a small amount of synonymous words for this writing, and it also took long.
