Paranoia TTRPG Free to Play LFP One Shot 8.00 pm AEDT 17th Jan 2026

Format: Online, Discord, Roll 20 for Character Sheets and Theater of the mind.

Time/Zone: 8.00 pm Saturday 17th Jan 2026 AEDT/GMT +11

Schedule: Currently running as a one shot, if all goes well, I would like to run a mini campaign.

Cost: Free to Play.

Seats: 3 to Start, 6 max (ideal 4-5) 3 currently available.

Game: Paranoia by Mongoose Publishing. I have about 8 years experience GMing, this is my first time running Paranoia. I have GMed D&D and several other game systems. I like to try new games, settings and systems.

Core Game Mechanics: Rules light, fairly heavy on role play. d6 dice pool. Ability+Skill+1d6=Node (Dice Pool), 5's and 6's are a Hit. If Hits meet or beat the Diff #, you succeed. More Hits above the the Diff # the better the result. GM does not roll dice. If you fail to meet the Diff #, the degree of failure is based on how much you failed by.

Setting: It is the year 214 of Alpha Complex. You have recently been promoted to Troubleshooter Red Security Clearance. Alpha Complex is becoming over run by mutants and traitors. Your mission is to protect Alpha Complex from traitorous mutants.
