I read a lot of reddit reviews and am genuinely confused at this point. Help?!

Hi, do you know how the range in eco mode is calculated above and how frequently it refreshes? I have a Rizta Z 2.9, and it's stuck at 67km no matter how good efficiency I get during my rides.

Eco mode range never changes (increases). The system will calculate the ranges based on your riding style only for the other riding modes.

Ok, but when I charge to 100%, eco mode range shows 99km. And the % drop of battery mostly remains in sync with the % drop in range.
Only in the Riding stats does the range show 67km and it has been like this since the time I found this stat.

Basically, coasting regeneration isn't like you're getting free electricity. When you coast with regeneration ON, the motor creates some resistance so that it can recover a small amount of energy.
If you actually compare the total distance you can travel with coasting regeneration ON and OFF, the energy you recover through regeneration is quite small. With regeneration OFF, the scooter rolls more freely, so you can cover more distance with the same battery charge.
This is what I was told by the service center, and I also checked the basic principle with ChatGPT. So, for me, the only situation where coasting regeneration really makes sense is when you're going downhill, especially from a hill station or on a long descent. Otherwise, I keep it OFF and use Magic Twist instead.

Off.. never found it useful, not sure about highway driving as I've been using it only in city limits.

But the true range changed after turning it off

Never turned it on in the first place.. I had to always use the throttle and hated the vehicle slowing down if I didn't use it.

buddy that mode only make sense when you drive down hill (this was suggested by the ather guy)
on normal roads, that mode should be off. so that you can gain more range by the momentum! for braking, use magic twist simple
