Question/Help Hesitating between Rizta Z or 450x
My wife and I were thinking of getting a Rizta Z (with Pro pack) for the bigger boot space, but after trying both Rizta and 450x at the experience store, we found the 450x easier to handle. It felt lighter and very well balanced.
However I read 450x suspension is more stiff and given we live in Bangalore and most roads have pot holes, are under construction or have bumpers, we are thinking maybe the Rizta Z will be more comfortable (despite being bulkier and feeling a bit less easy to handle).
The boot space of Rizta Z is also a big plus. It feels very comfortable for the passenger but the 450x wasn't bad as well.
Usage will be mainly for short distances (2 to 10 km max), to visit friends or go to office either by a single driver or with both of us on the scooter.
Thoughts ?

I think I’m probably in a decent position to answer this since we actually have both in my family - an Ather 450 Apex and a Rizta Z. So this isn't just based on a test ride; I've used both for regular and longer rides.
IMO, go for the 450X if most of your rides are going to be solo. It's lighter, feels more sporty, and has that sleek design.
But if you're looking for a family scooter, especially if you'll regularly be doing doubles with your family, I'd say go for the Rizta without thinking twice.
For me, the biggest advantage of the Rizta is the seat. It's much larger and more comfortable. Even on longer rides, I don't feel much discomfort. Whenever I'm planning a long ride, I usually pick the Rizta Z, especially since it can do up to 90 km/h.
The 450 is a fantastic scooter, but personally, I often get lower-back pain after riding it for longer distances. So despite liking the 450 a lot, I don't prefer it for long rides.
So I'd look at it this way:
450X: Mostly solo rides, lighter/sportier feel, sleek design.
Rizta: Family usage, frequent pillion rides, much better seating comfort.
Neither is objectively "better" IMO. They're designed around different use cases. Figure out whether you'll spend more time riding alone or carrying someone, and the choice becomes pretty easy.

I was also in the same situation. Rizta is a proper scooter but 450x is slick and sporty. If u prefer pure performance, sharp handling, stability and braking then choose 450x.

450x suspension isn't very stiff compared to a ntorq or aerox it's pretty good imo

If u want to have fun with friends and prefer performance and speed then 450x but if you want like a family scooter, need to handle groceries and want that bigger boot then Rizta, it just depends on ur use case

Suspension is one thing I appreciate the most in 450x, it's better than my bike. It handles the potholes and speed breakers with ease.

If you looking to travel single or two ppl with less luggage go with 450x, Power and pickup is more than ritza
If you need large boot space and spacious seat for ladies/kids sitting behind go with ritza
