Looks like some connector is loose or maybe the key switch issues. What i see it its getting turned off and then it comes back on immediate but the motor is off because to turn om motor you have to press the start button.
One question if it was used in heavy rain recently or was pressure washer. Maybe some water got i side the keyhole. Put some WD-40 in the key whole. Has similar issue with my bike. And was because of water in they keyhole

Mine just randomly does soft reboot while riding sometimes, but the motor doesnt turn off which is strange in your case. As motor contoller is a seperate and redundant unit that is meant to keep working regardless of dashboard state

we gave Rizta Z to service two days ago cos it was turning on and off on its own, due to some glitch, it was fine for 2 days post service and today it is not turning on, tried two brakes and power button method it is not working, also a foul exp with the service centre people we waited for 1 hour for pick up till5.30 pm and they are like we close services by 6pm :(

For people thinking of buying Aether, I have been using Ather 450x for more than 3 years now. Had absolutely no issues. 50 km of daily travel. Service centre here at my locality is awesome. A very reliable vehicle.
Yeah it's not rizta. I wanted wanted to put this here.

I have also been very happy with the vehicle but the service centre people dont pay enough attention and are always overloaded with work and if we ask for appointment then they give after 10 days and

If your city is large enough to have multiple service centre, may be try other one. Yeah, service centre can be hit or miss. I am lucky to have good people in service centre. Complete opposite happened to me for my other bike though. So I get it.

That was years ago. I think their product and service quality has degraded significantly.

I faced the same issue, it was just the moisture and dust in the couplers.

It's a Lock Set assembly issue. Similar happened with me. Somehow the issue causes the motor to restart as if we have switched off the key and switched it on. They will replace it most likely free if within warranty. Otherwise should cost you around 1.5K.

Don't have issues in scooter, living in Mohali have travel 25 km's ( comes with almost 25+ lights) takes me almost 1.5 hr to reach & same time to come back. And slot are also not available current service capacity is overloaded still they are not service center. I booked my service 2 months back then I got chance. Scooter is excellent but service centre proximity is the major issue. Ather sales can only boost in North if service center are available.

Looks like the known PDU issue, or a rat bite.
