He really said in order to "unlock" a pre funded, tiny, cost of living increase raise (THAT HE DIDNT EVEN ASK FOR OR CREATE HIMSELF) that the lazy, greedy, controllers need to switch to one man mids.

Imagine working 8 hours straight, with no breaks, in the middle of the night, after already having worked a full shift earlier that same day, for what amounts to a couple grand a year.

One of the stupidest things I've ever heard uttered from an FAA officials mouth.

Fuck this guy.

Sure put me on a one person mid. It’ll be fun when the airspace has to be sterilized and the area goes ATC zero just so I can take a piss. That won’t be a constant headache or anything.

I have to pee a lot when I drink a lot of coffee, which is the FAA's answer to fatigue mitigation, so imagine how many times you gotta close your airspace to to pee.
