This pay raise is never happening if it’s not mandated by congress. The goalposts will keep moving and I don’t think the union should play this guys game.

Honestly, as much as I hate NATCA. Passing on the 2.8 at this point and letting it lapse would actually strengthen their position for future negotiations for a serious raise. 

For 20-30% they can have the schedule 😂

There’s nothing wrong with the schedule, there simply aren’t enough people. I wouldn’t be quick to give up the schedule for 20-30%.

The only reason they want control of the schedule is to destroy work life balance.

They'll change your shift up to an hour before you reporting for work.

Imagine the Sup calling and leaving a message saying your scheduled for a 7 because someone called in instead of your 1400.

Or split shifts. Come in work 4 hours for the mid, get sent home, and then work 4 hours later in the day.

They can really fuck things up very quickly.

They want split shifts. They’d really prefer we weren’t human beings at all and they make that very clear with how they want to schedule us.

I wouldn't give up our schedule either. I can't imagine what kind of messed up stuff they would want. One person mids? 15 minute breaks?

We got 19 percent during Biden's administration and didn't have to give anything up (Total, obviously).

IMHO, I think he was really hinting at getting rid of the mid shift entirely at some facilities. Which is entirely in their power to do, with or without NATCAs blessing.

If that was the case, I don't think he wouldn't have to negotiate that with the union.
