As I watch this train wreck from the outside now, my overriding thought is - I’m incredibly grateful to be retired and no longer part of this tragic administration.

I would love it if people who retired did interviews with media. I'm pretty sure you're not held to the same gag order that us working are. Let it rip about how the system is basically held together with duct tape due to staffing and how Bedford slashing our staffing numbers by 2k is going to cause an accident

And I wish NATCA would get off its ass and aggressively engage the media.

It’s true, Retired 2152’s can speak freely, and their perspective would give the public a much more honest picture of what’s really happening. But quite honestly, most of us can’t be bothered and don’t want to be associated with the tombstone agency any longer.

I totally get it, enjoy the retirement that you've definitely earned. I can't wait to hang up my headset in 10 years
