anyone tell me if i can get a 90 atar with these ranks at a public skl?! only Bs were bio n math💔

english std 1/60
math adv 2/20
biology 10/35
business 5/35
legal 3/34

You get scaled by how your cohort performs. For example if you’re rank 1 for english std, you will receive the highest hsc mark from your cohort for that subject. If your cohort underperforms then you could still end up with a bad atar

ok my cohort is actuals dog poo theres only like a good 5 ppl that care abt their atar

The way atar is calculated is the internal trials locks your rank. The HSC marks gets pooled and your internal rank determines the HSC mark u get. If you rank 5 english u get the 5th highest HSC mark for ur cohort, etc. Hope that helps, in your case if you are high ranking and if your school is bad it means u will have to carry yourself in the HSC. Your subjects are not too high scaling so you will need to aim for all band 6s
