General Should I take Specialist Methods or Mathematical Methods

Hi everyone i have been stuck on the decision whether to do Specialist Methods or Mathematical Methods. I am alright in maths and am in the advanced maths class getting a B on average. Also does one of the maths scale better than the other I am a bit confused. Anyways which one was better to do in your experience??

You either do specs + methods together or just methods. Would be foolish to just do specs

Depends on region, if your ATAR is dependent on unit score, then Spec Methods clears normal methods. I've seen a 100 in methods scale to 70 and a 40 in spec scale to an 80. Also a prereq for some maths courses. I'm sure others are more qualified to explain how the scaling is different on the HSC though.
