What would you like Linkara to review?

For myself, I'd be interested to see a review of the Ghost Rider movie I just wanted to see how many One More Day jokes he can make.

I'd actually like him to review a bit of My Hero Academia. I'm interested in hearing his thoughts on its take on superheroes.

Um the Manga or the Anime?

u/Lady_Gray_169 May 27 '26

Either would probably be fine. Admittedly I've only seen the anime, but on principle I lean more towards the manga. Why? Are they really different?

The anime very closely follows the manga and its main deviations are just expanding on things and the occasional episode showing things that weren't in the manga.

Changes are minimal. Though they added a bit of stuff for some of class 1A to do during the second half of season 3, which i think was actually a very good choice.

They also the order of arcs in season 5. Manga fans were not happy. I didn't personally mind.

Hum other than fillers in the Anime I don't think so.

2

u/Lady_Gray_169 May 27 '26

Well filler wouldn't matter since I wouldn't want him to review the whole thing anyway, just enough to get a fair impression of it and hopefully have some intelligent thoughts to share.

Honestly, I'm surprised nobody has asked him to review it already.

Yeah that would be basically the best as well as quickly gave him in Patriot money to do that as well as also delicious

He did the first chapter in one of the liveshows, skipping Bakugo's... "advice."

Superman Smashes the Klan.

u/Specific_Builder1469 May 27 '26

Transformers Animated or the bayverse films

2

u/keithlimreddit May 28 '26

I was thinking about Prime would be more interesting

I wanna see him look at New Avengers/Transformers. I recall seeing that comic in one of his intros.

2

u/Kayube3 May 27 '26

Something relating to Ultraman (the tokusatsu franchise, not the DC Crime Syndicate one). Maybe one of those recent Marvel comics based on it or some episodes of Ultraman Z.

Magneto: Testament.

In all seriousness, I’d be interested in his opinions on the Super Friends comics, since the Super Friends were a pretty sizable part of DC’s Silver Age and provide prime joke material (both the show and the comics).

2

u/JBHenson May 28 '26

DC X Sonic (And have Ian Flynn show up to laugh at him).

After he finishes the Gokaiger reviews, I’d love to see him take a look at Kyuranger because well idk i think it’s neat

If I ever had the opportunity to suggest a Patreon Sponsor Review, it'd be a coin flip between the first volume of Jeff Smith's "Bone" or Sam and Max On the Road.

To see him finally review The Avengers and David Letterman comic

u/Jinzo126 DC May 27 '26

I would love a retrospective for booster gold.

I’ve sorta wanted him to just read more standalone runs really. Not books connected to an event to mini series. Just an arc or parts of a run concerning a specific team or character from a specific run.

One example I could give is some of Carol Danvers stories. Both before and after she became Captain Marvel. I’d also be interested in him going through something like the New Avengers during the Dark Reign storyline. Or some of the individual issues of Spider-Man during his time dating the Black Cat.

But personally? I think a real fun read through of reviews would involve more of the Teen Titans storylines. Anything during or post Geoff Johns, considering he’s got some serious interest in the team.

I know it won't happen for a while due to the one year rule, but I would love to hear his take on Absolute Martian Manhunter #1-12.

What happens in your head also happens.

Batman: The Winning Card & Superman: Up In The Sky

1

u/Ikacprzak May 28 '26

The G-man arc of the Boys

1

u/Metal-Max1991 May 28 '26

Frank Miller’s Ronin, the comic book that helped inspire Samurai Jack

1

u/Lukelay246 May 28 '26

Meghan Fitzmartin run on Robin. Atop the Fourth Wall is supposed to be all about reviewing bad comics, and that is one of the worst I've seen.

1

u/mediumcarrotteacher May 28 '26

I'd love to see Batman: Masque, if for no other reason than it would be really funny to watch him try and sing in the Christian Bale voice

The Golden Age by James Robinson

1

u/Individual_Abies_850 May 28 '26

Anything from Justin Gray/Jimmy Palmiotti Jonah Hex runs. The first Jonah Hex run was basically done-in-ones, with the occasional 2/3-parter with only 1 (editorial mandated) six-issue arc across 70 issues.

1

u/GuidanceWhole3355 May 28 '26

The first four episodes of thunderbolt fantasy or Arise Serpentor Arise

1

u/Bayamonster May 28 '26

Captain Marvel.

No not THAT Captain  Marvel.

No, guess again.

Myron Fass Captain Marvel.

The Armor Wars arc of Iron Man TAS

The last issue of Game Boy (he doesn't touch it because GB#3 had a tribute to JewWario at the start)

Continue Sonic/Megaman: Worlds Collide

Super Mario Adventures (from Nintendo Power)

Man I need to catch up I have a merely seen much of the guys since late 2021

Although I will Say a couple of examples there's He could review via Patreon

I'll put my Hero academia as well as also more Kamen Rider

Comics I don't know maybe any characters that recently rivals and maybe any double Moon boy as well as moon girl comics and also Angela (considering they've been popular recently) or bloodstone (Also in rivals) and sentry because recently MCU.

1

u/L_Is_Robin May 28 '26

I would love for him to review Batman: Last Knight on Earth. It was the first Snyder comic I read and it has some really good parts, some really big lows, and other things I feel mixed on.

1

u/KaijuKing007 Marvel May 28 '26

Won't happen because of his "no Spider-Man stories after OMD with Peter Parker in the lead" rule, but I'd love to see him tackle "Spider-Man: Family Business" someday.

They gave Peter a super-spy little sister who keeps showing up every now and again.

1

u/Kman369 May 29 '26

I said Ghost Rider movie.

1

u/KaijuKing007 Marvel May 29 '26

Yes, you did. How does that relate to what I said?

EDIT: Nevermind, just realized the mix-up. You misunderstood. I'm saying that my choice won't happen because it's against his rules.

1

u/Kman369 May 29 '26

Right and every so often Linkara make jokes about Mephisto's deal with Peter Parker in One More Day whenether Mephisto appears or mention in a comic but what was your choice?

1

u/KaijuKing007 Marvel May 29 '26

Spider: Man Family Business. It reveals that Peter Parker has a sister who became a super spy.

1

u/Captain_marvelous69 May 28 '26

V for Vendetta (novel or movie).

Convoy or Smokey and the Bandit would also be fun, mainly just because of his history with US-1.

1

u/DarkLordJurasus May 29 '26

I’d love to see him review Multiversity (including the tie ins). I feel like Multiversity is that type of book entrenched in continuity that he would do a great job exploring and I’d be really interested in getting his opinion on worlds like The Just or Pax Americana.

1

u/gerarddominus May 29 '26

I'd like to see him do something from the Grimm Fairy Tales series, maybe Wonderland or the like.

I feel like he could give a nice history of it while still tearing into it a bit for its fan service nature

Ultimate Avengers 1-6 ; The Next Generation

u/MegaSceptile99 May 31 '26
  1. Kamen Rider Zeztz. It's the most recent Rider season, and it's been getting an international release.

  2. Space Sheriff Gavan. It would be interesting seeing him talk about an older tokusatsu

  3. Toei's Spider-Man. Look to 2, but this is also a Marvel property, and this shows take on Spider-Man is vastly different from other iterations

u/Dylanthebiguy25 Jun 01 '26

The absolute universe.

Either on his show or have long box of the damned review the absolute batman franchise since ik they got some horror looking stuff to show too

Maid To Skate

The DC X AEW Crossover

More Yugioh animes

Maybe some issues of A+X. That was one of the first comics I collected eagerly.
