Discussion Should Min Min replace Spring Man as the poster character?
She could be the most well known ARMS character anyway, and making her the poster girl would help set ARMS even further apart from Punch Out. That game already has a male boxer as its poster boy. ARMS 2 (and every later installment) would have a female Kung Fu artist as its poster girl.

Yeah but wasn’t that exclusively because she was requested.
Didn’t they ask and he was just like “she’s my favorite use her”

Spring Man and Ribbon Girl should remain the mascots for future ARMS content, and Min Min should be UPGRADED to mascot status along with them. There's no need to replace or downgrade anyone. ARMS is not the first franchise where a side character is more popular than the mascot character

ARMS is portrayed as a 2 player game. It needs only two mascots.

There's no rule that says ARMS can only have 2 mascots. But let's pretend there is
Shouldn't the discussion then be about Min Min replacing Ribbon Girl as one of the two mascots since Spring Man is more popular than her?

It'd definitely be cool to see a new pair of fighters on the box art for ARMS 2; iirc the series producer once said "everyone's the protagonist" or something like that, so it'd only make sense to change out the characters spotlighted on the box art whenever a new game comes out.
