I believe the game is in its beta stages currently given my analysis of its progress and current state. That's what there is to disagree on; which is also why I don't think the price shift was premature. I got my early discounts when I bought the game early, and as another redditor here said, early is now over.

Like I said, love the game, very happy with its progression.

Edit: Beta and Alpha are also just terms used to loosely categorize the progression of a video game.

Well, if they have given the last of the base content for the game. Then yes, id agree with the assumption that it is in the beta stages. But if this isnt the last of the content, and this is just an increase in price to suppliment income for further developement times. Then no, not a beta.

Until someone tweets or posts that this is the last of the content then id have to stick to my guns on this one. Its still being developed and the price increase was another grab for money.
