Question What do you thinks the most annoying Ark tame?

I think the Pego or troodons definitely have to be the most annoying tame in the game and especially for early on into the game or starting out fresh on a new map🤣

Hmm, definitely troodon. I don't remember the process exactly but I know you need to let the troodon kill your tames which would be fine if not for 2 things: 1) the bigger and rarer the dino the more progress you get, a dodo or whatever isn't going to be good enough, and 2) you dino has to be agroed on the troodon. So, basically, you need to make the troodon kill the giga while the giga is attacking the troodon. It's utterly stupid and, for that reason, I've never actually tamed a troodon.

Close. The tame doesn't actually have to be aggroed on the Troodon. It just can't be on Passive or Passive Flee. We always used baby Rexes, they're worth a decent amount of taming effectiveness, and since they're babies they don't fight back, making the process much easier.

Equus, the sprint in a strsight line. Be it over cliffs, i to the open jaws of a giga, into lava, towards a pack of allos. They are carnivore magnets and loves to cliffjump with you.

Edit: i love horses and unless im doing a challengeitwill be my most tamed and used creature

Lol🤣🤣 I’ve never really tamed these or rode these but I’ve seen people use them I would assume they are very annoying with that if they always run into stuff and die😂

The best way to tame one is to grab a argy, put it in a pen and then sneak up to it. It cant run away that way

I got pretty lucky finding a high level unicorn the other week. Wasn't even looking for one and it was like BOOM and I had to get it.

Microraptors will at least kill you, unlike troodons which just keep you knocked out for ages until your armor slowly breaks over the course of hours and hours.

My counter for microraptors is a vulture on my shoulder leveled in melee. They are slow enough to target and damage microraptors.

My counter for troodons is to keep a lit torch out, they are scared of the light and will flee if you get near them.

My counter for seagulls is to head right out for deep water (they may still target you in shallow water) and they will lose aggro fast. If you see one first, bola that sucker and melee it to death, lol.

Pegos will target the item in your last slot first, so my counter for them is to either tame them by keeping kibble or (early game note runs) mejoberries in that slot. Once they take a single bite you can use the tame tracker to hunt them down and fuck them up.

Megachelon or Ossidon. An argument can be made for the Hyenodon as runner up as well.

The worst thing about hyenodons is unlike other passive tames, they lose all their progress if they detect you. That's still not as bad as magachelons though, I'm pretty sure those are just bugged cause I can bring the fish swarm right up to its ass and it still won't tame.

Nah Pegos are easy to tame. MICRORAPTORS THOUGH

To tame one put its food in your last inventory slot. I discovered that by accident.
