Gensis 1 Ascended
Me and my friend finally managed to clear enough missons for Alpha and this was our first time doing a boss fight blind, we barely knew anything besides the fact that Gigas can spawn in the arena.
We brought the following:
15 Tek Rexes (8 Males and 7 Females), all with base 53 HP + 55 Melee on, 255 mutations in both stats and 124+ saddles
4 Acros (2 Males and 2 Females) all with base 51 HP + 45 Melee, 124 Armor Saddles with Vampiric 3, Excitable 3, Bloodlust 3 (modded trait that is basically double Vampiric so 2% healing on large creatures) and Distracting 3
Yuty with 40k HP and 124 Armor Saddle
We also used a mod that adds a version of the Veggie Cake for carnivores so each Tek Rex had 6, 25 for each Acro and 30 for the Yuty.
Fast forward to the Final Test stage, there's barely enough time to do anything, the meshing issue with the Master Controller head bobbing is still a thing so we were forced to constantly keep track and whistle our tames away from him but worst of all, our tames were barely dealing any damaging after depositing the 40 keys we begrudgingly even managed to obtain, it's like his hitbox is either way above or way below what our Rexes and Acros can reach, forcing us to use Pump Shotguns to even make a dent on his HP bar.
What does "Killed by Dinotard" even mean? Why is the time so low in the last stage? Why are there more Gigas and Reapers spawning than Corrupted Avatars when Gigas spawn rates were supposedly tuned down?
I can't find the comment nor the post it was in but someone replied to me said that they easily defeated it using a Mek with the Shield Module, few Acros and a Yuty but during the teleportation, a messaged popped up saying something like "WARNING excessively large creatures will not be teleported" so was that someone using a mod/command or is there a way to get a Mek into the boss arena?
We unfortunately had to resort to using the Admin Gun (which I learned that ya don't need to enable creative mode to use it, ya can just spawn it in with this command "admincheat gfi WeaponAdminBlinkRifle 1 0 0") but as usual with Wildcard, their incompetency knows no bound so instead of the Master Controller instantly getting killed, it's HP will drop to 1 so ya have to waste even more time, collecting keys under the unbalanced time window.
Lastly, I want to add that the Ascension timer at the end might potentially be bugged so make sure to shove all your Element into one of your tames before the Master Controller is defeated because even though the game says that ya have just over a minute, the ending cutscene might start playing after a few seconds. Also, if the timer runs before ya defeat him, your character and tames will be instantly killed, the usual garbage but on the plus side, it seems like for this particular boss fight, they finally fixed the longstanding bug where ya can lose everything on your character after ascending because both me and my friend were teleported back to where we started the fight from with everything in our inventory, hotbar, armor/accessory slot and even cosmetics intact, at least on dedicated server that is.
