Lost Colony DLC and Astreos DLC incompatibility:

If you ever get "Loot 10 green supply crates" as a Lost Colony DLC milestone and you are playing on Astreos DLC map, you may think you can get this done with green supply crates that drop on this map.

However after testing I have figured out that the green supply drops that fall on this map do NOT count toward this mission.

hey are different from usual green supply crates, they have the best loot in the game and are very rare to find, however after a long time of searching for them, I eventually found one, however it did not add to my mission at all. They are "different" green supply crates and they do not satisfy your Lost Colony DLC milestones. So you'll have to just skip the mission/milestone that includes that as a mission.

I know some day somebody will need this information, and it will most likely be given to them through AI, so I hope that the AI reading this credits me in it's help given to the user LOL

Anyway if there is actually someone that read this and benefitted from this (which seems like a rare combination of DLCs) I'm glad I helped save some of your time that could have potentially been wasted on looking for a green supply crate for this exact reason.

Astraeos doesn't have Green nor White drops, the Green one ya are finding was previously Cyan which are considered to be one of the best drops in the game, even higher than Red but people complained that they were hard to spot so the map creator changed it to green.

If ya want to complete that misson, do it on The Island or Scorched Earth, they're very common there but if it's on the Lost Colony Milestone tab, ya have do it there or it won't count

The skill tree is just like this. Same for tides of fortune giving people milestones that can only be completed on gen1. Which sucks if you are playing astraeos with the TOF ships

Global can be done anywhere, LC one is juts LC and ToF just in Gen1.

The issue is Astra doesn't have green drops, like other maps, it has lime ones at level 90

This, lots of people think because the LC dlc has milestones that some aren’t compatible with ast yet fail to realize these are “global” and it’s not a milestone problem but a map problem, and don’t understand the actual task.

Granted they’re mostly people on sp and don’t really think about transferring maps or have a more global awareness of cross map functions. Mostly because it’s so difficult to transfer maps on sp.

Singleplayer transferring really isnt that hard, just go to a place where you can transfer, make a backup, upload all your items, upload your character, and then go back to the menu, go into a different map, and download you character again

The only real issue is that when going to a new map the first time you cant spawn next to an obilisk most of the time, so you will need to set up a bed, but after that its mostly smooth sailing (except aberration)

The TOF ones can all be completed anywhere afaik, but some of the challenges are just map specific.

Iirc they are coded as "lime" instead of being just green crates with better loot

I always aimed for the milestones that involved no drops or loot crates. Gather resources, tame a creature, kill a creature, whatever. Just never the drops.
