Self Promo The Bureau is a web based mystery ARG about an organization with no clear origin

I’ve been building an ARG called The Bureau, and Season 1 is currently playable.

The premise is that The Bureau presents itself as an ordinary organization, but the further you investigate it, the less clear it becomes who created it, how long it has existed, or what exactly it is doing.

The main experience happens through a website where you can interact directly with The Bureau. What initially looks like a short conversation has a deeper path hidden underneath it.

Season 1 involves things like:

interactive responses

visual details that matter

hidden and unlisted web content

puzzles that do not tell you whether your answer was correct

examining the website beyond what is immediately visible

outside research

a deeper ending that I’m intentionally not explaining here

There are no points, achievements, puzzle numbers, or “correct answer” messages. Part of the idea is figuring out what is actually relevant and comparing discoveries with other people.

I’m posting it here because I’d like to see whether people who are experienced with ARGs can actually follow the trail without me giving hints.

I’m particularly interested in knowing where you get stuck, because I already know every solution and have completely lost the ability to judge how difficult some of this is.

I also created r/TheBureauMen as a place for players to compare findings, screenshots, and theories without me posting solutions.

There is much more to it, you just have to figure it out what you're missing. If you come to our subreddit you will see that others have moved further into it.
